This coming winter is extra special for us because Entertainment on Ice is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
The past 10 years have been a journey full of wonderful moments, challenges and growth.
When we look back on the past decade, there are an awful lot of highlights that stick with us. In 10 years, we built a loyal customer base, an artist database and several relationships with ice rinks and event agencies. We made ice skating shows in the Netherlands and soon we added Belgium. We made skate shows for charities, big and small brands, with Dutch and international artists.
We look back with mega pride on spectacular skating shows we were privileged to produce such as ‘Sint on Ice’ in Rosmalen in 2019, where thousands of spectators enjoyed our unique skating show in amazement. The unforgettable collaboration with Dancing on Ice when we taught BN’ers how to skate is an absolute highlight and the numerous skating acts we performed in the Netherlands and Belgium are all special to think back on. Memories are made, for both us and the visitors who enjoyed and were enchanted by our skating shows and acts.
We also began training performers with the Entertainment on Ice Academy and organized the annual Performance Camp five times at the Vechtsebanen in Utrecht which is a magical moment in the year every time with lots of smiling faces and above all lots of skating, show and love of performance.
As with any journey, there were challenges. The pandemic brought a lot of uncertainty in 2020 and 2021, and we had to find creative solutions to keep Entertainment on Ice alive, even without a live audience, but we weathered those difficult times and came out stronger. More requests followed for Entertainment on Ice acts and shows than ever before and we created new offerings for each winter.
And so 10 years fly by quickly and winter 24-25 is upon us again.
This winter we are celebrating our Jubilee full of Surprises!
Now, with our 10th anniversary, we will make it an extra magical winter and celebrate our anniversary with renewed offerings, we will surprise with special actions, organize the Performance Camp again and that promises to be a special edition. We can’t reveal everything yet, but let’s make it an unforgettable winter together!
